This is a photo album I created for the members of Sonagi, a backpacking society I have been part of since 2009 in South Korea. I tried my best to put together the best shots from 3 year's worth of photos. I also inserted excerpts from travel journals written by some of the members, including mine (they are written in Korean).



What we do in Sonagi, we take a trip to a certain place in Korea every month without spending any money, not even for transportation, food or sleeping. We hitchhike, we ask random people for shelter, sometimes we walk for miles, but most of all, we enjoy freedom of not having to be depended on money or time.

People ask us why we do it. We do it because we can(in South Korea at least).



Most photos in this album are shots of our members. I almost exclusively took pictures of our members during the trips because I always enjoyed looking at their faces with so many emotions. Scenery is good and all, but the faces people make after 6 hours of walk without having much rest and food, those are just priceless.
