Born in Wisconsin and raised in California, I feel most at home in Asheville, NC with my son Sergio, my daughter Valencia, and my husband Drew. While I shoot a variety of subjects, I most frequently shoot people. I enjoy being in the moment as aspects of the shoot come together such as styling and composition. However, it is most often during the editing and post-production process when feel a mystical connection with my subject’s inner beauty. I found my tribe in the art department at UC Berkley and received my BA in art from UNC Asheville.
