I have spent my life moving around North America. I was born in Calgary, AB. At the age of 10 I moved to New Jersey, only to move back to Canada at the age of 14 to the Toronto area. I spent all of my summers between the ages of 10 and 19 working for my uncle on the east coast in Pictou County, Nova Scotia. At the age of 19 I moved to Victoria to attend the University of Victoria for a creative writing degree. I came to learn and love digital photography and editing, however my writing career was something best left to hobby. I left Uvic to pursue a more viable career in tourism, which has since taken me to Sonora Island, Tofino, Costa Rica, Hawaii, Squamish, and ultimately Vancouver. My passion for photography is matched only by my love for surfing, all things oceanic, and adventure. I also like snowboarding, hiking, and experiencing new foods.
