After 10 years of coaching in Texas public schools, I found I just couldn't stand to watch my kids games from the bleachers. I solved my problem by picking up a 35mm film camera and started getting closer to the action. It didn't take long to figure out that a film camera was not going to work for me. I moved to the digital world and have probably taken over 100,000 shots of my kids and their friends playing rec league games to high school varsity and Division 1 and 2 sports.
