The (almost) dark side of Porto: the first thing I realized when I arrived in Avenida dos Aliados, situated in the center of this wonderful city, was the large amount of buildings with broken windows and peeled walls. Then the streets, veins and arteries penetrating through these huge constructions and bringing life to the city, people looking tired because of their job, but with a proud look in their eyes. This is (also) Porto, with its haunting decay.
