Yorkshire is the heartland of British cycle racing. The Otley Criterion race is an annual event which regularly attracts top cyclists as well as a huge local following. These photos were taken by photographer Lloyd Spencer as the Summer's evening drew in and the race progressed. Captured in some of his photos is cyclist and photographer, Brent Carr, who introduced Lloyd to the race and indeed, to the excitement of competitive cycling.
