    About the Book

    Edit

I have 5 children - 4 boys and a girl. In 2006, my oldest children, twins, asked me to write a timeline. They were 15. They wanted to get an idea of when things happened in my life. They were somehow fascinated with the stories. After that, they asked me to write some ideas I had on certain philosophies that allowed me to live the way I have. So on scraps of paper and in notebooks, I would write down things that I thought were important and relevant. It started getting out of hand so I organized the papers into sections which then became chapters. It took me about a year and a half. I had a couple of the books bound and gave them to boys when they were finishing high school. They liked the book but their friends and teachers liked it more.

It was originally an 8x10 hardcover with a white marker used to write the title. I thought I would try something more practical.
