About the Book
This photo essay is made up from a selection of pictures taken of the streets of London between 2010-2012. I went out with no agenda, just to take pictures of what was out there on my road, up town and in the neighbourhoods. The poem at the end is one that I found posted in Shoreditch by Robert Montgomery, which seemed to me to sum up the prevailing mood. Taken on a Sony Cybershot and a Cannon EOS, I'm still learning my skills but what is lost in camera competence I hope is made up for in the observations.
