Chris Batcheller is a Slidell, LA based photographer who picked up a camera in high school and has been shooting ever since! His photography started at airshows. Since then, he has worked with several national aviation publications as an author and photographer. Later his work grew into shooting friends and family. Today he shoots a variety of subjects including sports, actors, families and maternity. His newest work is venturing into commercial shoots for advertising. When asked about photography, Chris said “for me, I love the challenge”. He went on to say, “To make the shot you have to have everything right - the gear, the people and the light.” Presenting images to clients is his favorite part of being a photographer. Chris and his wife Denise were married in 2004 and they live in Slidell, LA. They are raising two children and one crazy dog!
