    About the Book

    Edit

Within these pages, is a story of a dog left for stray in the bowels of NYC. Unclaimed by his master(s), he was, caught, locked-up, and later sentenced to death by a pound in that same city. He was then rescued from his demise by a group of dog lovers in Vermont (North Country Animal League), and later adopted by a man with nothing but time and love to offer.

It’s a story of a dog who loved life beyond measure, and of a man who couldn’t help but be touched by that love. Consequent to this exchange, they soon became the truest of friends, perhaps even surpassing the bonds of human-human relationships.

Through trials and tribulations, they learned to always forgive mistakes and to focus on the good, thus, turning their friendship into a wonderfully loyal and touching journey.

This 172 page book is a compilation of two books. The first book is a story, through the point-of-view, of Eiger and revolves around wonderful moments both Eiger and his master shared. Book II, on the other hand, is the story that followed the passing of the authors dog and the struggle with grief and sadness.
