About the Book
"The Bus" is a photo essay exploring the culture of El Pasoans, young and old, who use the public transportation system. As the city grows, I was interested in taking an inside look to how bus systems differed from city, which was compared to Portland, Oregon's metro-state transportation system.

Diaz is earning her Bachelor's Degree at New Mexico State University and has studied photography under former New York Times photographer, Bruce Berman. The constant search for truth is motivation to her stories and photos.
