About the Book
In the early 70s, a group of young people began doing community development work directed at youth and accomplished great things. The project was called North Shore Youth Services and it took place on the West Island of Montreal. Check it out.

High school drop out who played hockey in Mexico at age 16 and by 18 had left home to see parts of the US, Europe and Africa. Upon his return, John set out to do 2 things - return to school and give back to the community a portion of what it had given him while growing up. John graduated from university and while in school started NSYS - the subject of his first Blurb. While in school, he married his high school sweet heart and they adopted 2 kids. After graduation John worked for the Montreal YMCA then moved to Toronto where he ended up working in IT for the provincial government.
