    About the Book

    Edit

Thirteen year-old twins, Cirra and Jace, learn that dragons are real when a young Tonk falls through a portal at the top of earth's sky and into their modern-day lives.

They learn the youngling's wings are too small to fly back to the portal and home in the magic world of Penndalla.  The portal will close in twenty-four hours, and that will seal the little dragon’s death. Cirra and Jace's hearts go out to the small dragon and they promise that somehow, they will return Tonk.  But, they are unaware of the dangers they will fall into and that death awaits them both.

Night of the Drackin is a modern day dragon story where our young heroes are never out of danger.  They face the impossible, return Tonk 200 miles straight up to the portal before it closes, elude a desperate sheriff who has vowed to capture Tonk, and defeat a dangerous felon who will kill to get a dragon.

Then, there's the problem of the Drackin, a giant dragon that Cirra must battle high in the night sky.  With magic sword in hand, and on the back of a dragon whose heart is as big as its wings, Cirra flies into one of the biggest surprises of their adventure.
