This book covers ten years on board H.M.S. Dorsetshire. It is compiled from the experiences of the seamen who served on this special County Class Cruiser. They served in peace time and war time. This is an insight to a life on board ship to which many called Home. Long spells were spent at sea, many ports were visited, many sights were seen. They endured over thirty hours in the water before they were rescued having been sunk by the Japanese in the Indian Ocean on Easter Day in 1942.
