Ted DeFeo, a Kansas City native, has had growing interests in both science and the art of photography since childhood. He combined his love for marine life with his love for photography and became a certified diver in 1975. Devoting much of his spare time over the last thirty years to searching out new waters and new sea life, Ted has ardently pursued the art of underwater photography during hundreds of dives all over the world. His quest for quality ocean images has taken him to : Australia, Bahamas, Belize, Bonaire, Cayman Islands, Cocos Islands (Costa Rica), Fiji, Philippines, the Red Sea from both Saudi Arabia and Israel, Roatan Island (Honduras), Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Turks & Caicos Islands and Vanuatu. Linda DeFeo, Ted’s wife, is also an avid diver and artist. Linda not only accompanies him but acts as an integral part of the photographic team. Ted & Linda reside in Overland Park, Kansas.
