    About the Book

    Edit

For every book sold, I'll send $2 to The Lower 9th Ward Village in New Orleans. Check them out at www.lower9thwardvillage.org. (I'm only selling them for $2 more than the Blurb price, so I'm not making any profit).

A book by Victoria Holt, about her experiences living, learning, and laboring in New Orleans, on a study away course taught by Professor Gary K. Perry. This sociological class taught students about the social and cultural history of New Orleans, and immersed us in the local realities of the region. We volunteered with different organizations and spoke to many artists and survivors about their experiences. This book reflects upon the experiences I had while in New Orleans, and encourages other students to go on the trip as well.
