In 2010 we made one of the most beautiful trips we've made so far, a trip which was already on our list for a very long time, a trip to Iran : the cradle of civilization. A country totally misunderstood by most fellow westerners because of the political colored images often showed by the mass media. Our experience in Iran contradicts with the common image : we found Iran a beautiful country with a wide variety of landscapes (mountain ranges, desserts, beaches and dense tropical rainforest) and met the most warm-hearted, friendly, hospitable and attentive people. The Iranian people enjoy life including poetry, romance, good food and drinks and deal with the rules of Islam and government very creatively. We were invited in many peoples homes to have tea, dinner and get introduced to their culture.
