    About the Book

    Edit

I like to compare my writing style to that of James Thurber, Patrick McManus, Dave Barry, Mark Twain and Erma Bombeck. I mean, who wouldn't want to compare their stuff to the top 5 in their field, you know?

Most of the book is about either growing up in Dallas, my experiences in a Texas college in the '70s and my life now as a father of 3 in Grand Prairie, Texas.

A lot of my friends seemed to like the book and since I've never been terribly popular, I'm hoping that it's because my writing is good and not because they feel sorry for me for not being popular (and I've never heard of pity publishing before). See what you think and if you're opinion is positive, feel free to share it with me!

    Mark Webb
    Dallas/Ft.Worth

Mark lives with his wife, Marci and children, Josh, Tori and Hailey in Grand Prairie, Texas. This book grew from a few emails to entertain his wife at work to online postings to amuse his friends. Now that he has two kids in college his desire to amuse his friends has turned into desperation to continue living indoors. Buy his book and help Mark live indoors while he looks for the answer to the eternal question- why am I writing this part in third person?
