Anne Speed, after 25 years in the software industry, combined her love of travel and appreciation for the arts and indigenous cultures and embarked on the most amazing and rewarding journey of learning about Australian Aboriginal culture, art and discovering artists. Cicada Trading was created in 2003 to source and showcase contemporary Australian Aboriginal art. The life lessons learned, experiences and friendships made with both the artists and customers around the world since then have been truly inspiring and humbling. Cicada was made possible through the faith and support of Anne's husband Anthony.



Here are some photos taken during Anne's various trips visiting different remote communities across Australia and some paintings she purchased on those trips.



The purpose of this photo book is to share some of Anne's adventures and treasured moments in the beautiful Australian outback and inspire the reader to follow their dreams.
