Leah Berry is a recent graduate of Alfred University where she received a BA with a concentration in photography. Formative work in Black and White film, Color film and Alternative processing lead her into the world of Digital in her senior year. Culmination of her digital independent study and her teaching assistantship was her Senior thesis "SHE". This collection of self portraitures questioned the importance of being and the weight of life. This unique display, comprised of multiple panels creating single images greater than 8 feet tall, captivated viewers. As a post graduate Leah traveled to China to refine her digital photography skills. Studying with School of Visual Arts based in New York City she expanded her work by creating the collection called "Silent Workers." Currently Leah is residing in New Hampshire creating new work and expanding her knowledge in photography.
