Margaret Currie

Margaret Currie has been a New Zealand Volunteer teacher of English in Mongolia since 1992 and from 1995 has devoted much of her time to prison ministry there to make a difference. She has a real love for poetry and when faced with the experiences of people in prison, was inspired to write poems herself. Added to this was the Mongolian heart for poetry and there were opportunities to publish books of prisoners’ poems that emerged from adversity. The key to Margaret’s involvement with prisoners, of which this book is the expression, is her perceived mandate from Jesus Christ Himself in Matthew’s Gospel, 25 v36 “I was in prison and you visited Me’
