About the Book
Tony Kemplen has been collecting old cameras for forty years. In January 2010 he decided it was time to put them through their paces at the rate of one every week. Now in the third year of the project, and without missing a week, he continues to work his way through a fascinating variety of old and not so old film cameras. This book covers the second year of the project, with a double page spread for each camera. An ideal book for dipping into, 52 cameras in 52 weeks is also an invaluable reference for people looking at old cameras on eBay, to see just what each camera is capable of. Tony also writes a regular column in Amateur Photographer magazine, in which he recounts some of his experiences.
