Circle Magic is about a little girl who is sent to her aunt and uncle's house to learn to draw perfect circles. This isn't an easy task. Ginny gets impatient with herself - and angry. Her Aunt Evie, usually full of fun, won't even explain why she needs to learn. When she overhears her aunt and uncle talking about her difficulties, she resolves to run away. Looking for a place to hide, Ginny finds herself in a halfway place between the world of adults and a magical world of animals. She meets a bold-talking mouse and a wise stuffed monkey who need her help. They find that the animals of the land have mysteriously vanished. Only circle magic can save them - if Ginny can do it.
