I am a very creative person and have been writing for some time. I was raised in Queens, New York, and always dreamed of one day becoming a published writer. While doing my undergraduate courses in pre med, I entered a CUNY city-wide creative writing contest and won first prize for my story, “The People Of Pentar”, at about the time I wrote “Hedda’s Debut”. I went on to earn my degree as doctor of Chiropractic in 1989 and practiced for several years in New York and New Jersey. I then taught for many years as an adjunct professor of Biology and Microbiology in colleges and universities in those same states. In recent years, I devote a lot of my time to teaching high school Science and holistic health coaching, of which I was certified through Columbia University in 2007. During my years, I have also won an award for a short story entitled “The Special Time”, and published my novel, “Locker 141”. I live and work in Central Jersey. Enjoy!
