About the Book
'Sophie Miller & Apatchonata Eventing!' is a personal photography book that chronicles three years of one young riders' Eventing progress and performance between July 2009 to August 2011, concentrating on five specific events at Eridge, Chilham Castle, Borde Hill and Firle Place, with all these eventing venues showing off the best eventing landscape in the Kent and East and West Sussex areas.
Sophie Miller is Michael Field's niece and the book celebrates not only Sophie's exploits but gives an inside view into the companionship and trust created between riders and their horses. The book is a photographic diary of the joys and learning curve that all young riders must follow to achieve their own best competitive success at any chosen level.
Additional commentary is by Gillian Miller, with extra photographs provided by Karen Field.
