About the Book
This is a daily and weekly planner featuring some Ugandan children I met while doing volunteer work in Bugembe this past year. Many of them are HIV+ as well as being orphans. For some of them, schooling is being provided by sponsors through the group AOETUSA- UGANDA in Portland, OR. A life of poverty and hunger can prevent them from school, good health and a future of productivity. I found the children always there to greet me with a smile. A large percentage of these proceeds will go to: The Giving Circle- Africa, in Saratoga Springs, NY to help build a new school at Kagoma Gate, Uganda, for educating 200 children. ALL PHOTOS ARE IN COLOR.

I taught elementary school for 34 years, raised a family, then developed a new life called working-retirement dedicated to global needs of children. I now do educational research and consulting on educating children who are chronically ill, work in Africa to support AOETUSA, The Giving Circle/Uganda,of Saratoga Springs, New York and Charity: Water. As I continue to travel the world, I endeavor to do photography as an added profession to document the wonderful people and sights that I witness. It is a great job, the working site is challenging, and the people are always a daily enrichment to work with. I am involved with the establishment of the educational program in a new Giving Circle school in Uganda presently.
