    About the Book

    Edit

Isa was born in an Estonian village in Russia right before the Russian revolution. Ema was born in Estonia. World War II changed their lives. As the Soviet Union and Germany battled thousands fled for freedom. Isa escaped from communist Russia and Ema (and her 2 small children) fled Estonia as the communists re-occupied Estonia. They meet at a displaced persons camp. In 1951 they start a new life in America. Read how hardship and war brought together two remarkable people. An inspirational story.
