This book is a compilation of my favorite pieces from 2007 through 2011, during which time I explored the urban beauty of downtown Los Angeles, hosted weekly figure drawing sessions and traveled to far off lands for adventure and inspiration. Some of the paintings are done 'en plein air', while others are color studies or larger studio pieces.

My goal has always been to communicate my internal and emotional experience with what I am observing, echoing my own evolution, process and growth as an artist. In this way I hope to transcribe the common everyday spaces into the fascinating, beautiful and uncommon ground which I perceive.
