    The Faces of Gabe

This series of photographs was part of a year long photographic journey designed to capture a picture a day for a year during 2010. During the last month of the project, I decided that I would photograph Gabriel Dillingham, who likes to be called "Gabe," daily during the month of December and these photos are the result of that project. Thanks to everyone that helped and especially to Gabe for putting up with me all month. Gabe's mom, Tina Dillingham, works with me at The Messenger Newspaper in Madisonville, Ky where I have been a staff photojournalist since retiring from the Air Force in 1995. Tina and Gabe's dad, Matt Dillingham, graciously allowed me into their lives every day for a month.
