For more than thirty years, the listening point atop of the Teufelsberg Hill, was at the front line of Cold War spying activities and at the peak of technological development - the very first email in Europe was sent from there.

For the last twenty years, the site was left to natural erosion and human vandalism. Today it is a bleak group of ruins which bears witness to the recent past as well as to ignorance.
