Born and raised in Southeastern Pennsylvania, Luke Rafferty took to photography at a young age. Starting out using his father's film camera, he had a traditional beginning to the art. Over the years, he began to take photography more seriously, and eventually got a camera of his own.

Now 18 and a senior at Conestoga High School, Luke is the Photo and Managing Editor of the school's award-winning newspaper, The Spoke.



Luke also spends time doing free-lance photography in the Philadelphia area, shooting for newspapers, as well as photographing weddings, portraits and other events.



These experiences, both nearby and abroad, have furthered Luke’s passion for photography.
