About the Book
The Plush Room is an installation based project, in which the zombifiying process is documented. The concept of hybridity is seen in the narrative structure of Antoinette's practice. Each installation works independently, but is still influenced by the previous one. The walls or frames represent the time lapse between each frame presented to the audience.

About the Creator
Antoinette Ratcliffe is a Wellington based artist who has just completed her MA at The School of Media Arts. She explores thematic narrative derived from contemporary animation, comedy, horror conventions, banal situations and anthropomorphic association, creating an existentially humorous situation which alludes to a B grade horror film with comic book influence.
