A practicing physician who has published both scientific articles and poetry, Art Fox started working with a 4X5 inch format camera and a homemade basement darkroom in the 1970’s and now works digitally. Member of Jane Fulton Alt’s Photography Critique Group in Evanston since 2008. Images published as cover of Chicago Quarterly Review 2009 (poetry journal), published via book form in Best of Photography 2009 (honorable mention) and Best of Photography 2010 (finalist). Selected to exhibit at the Merchandise Mart in Art Loop Open 2010 (juried show), sponsored by the Chicago Artist’s Coalition. Winner of “Hidden Chicago” photography contest published in Chicago Magazine 2010. Art lives in the West Loop with his wife Ann, and is a proud parent and grandparent.
