The author has had three books published his first "A Brandane Boy" was originally published in 2009 his second book 'Parkcops' detailed his life in the police. In 2021 a completely rewritten and updated version of 'A Brandane Boy' was published. The Author was born on the Island of Bute off the west coast of Scotland. He holds both UK and Canadian Citizenship. He retired from the Police in 2003 with the rank of Inspector. Following retirement he was appointed a Magistrate for England & Wales ( Crimiinal) and later a Family Court Judge. He retired from the Bench in 2013
