    About the Book

    Edit

Red Brick Road was planned around a time frame of 30 days, from May 14th to June 12th, 2011. To depart from and return to Minneapolis via Iowa, Nebraska, Colorado, Utah, Arizona, California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, South Dakota. Roughly 6,500 miles, enjoying as many curvy roads, mountains and coastline that time would permit. This book is a compilation of all blog entries from Stephanie and Matthew along Red Brick Road, plus additional pictures from the GoPro (camera mounted on Stephanie's bike/helmet) and Matthew's camera. By no means is this book written grammatically correct. If it were, the blog and book would get a big fat F- most certainly. Matthew and Stephanie simply wish to share their adventure with others and have a hard copy for when their fragile memories begin to fail them. However, if BMW OWNERS NEWS gets wind of this blog/book and desires "The Flying Brick's" expertise for a running magazine column.....the answer is YES!

    Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA

About Matthew & Stephanie A couple who successfully accomplished their first long distance motorcycle trek on matching BMW K75's (AKA "Flying Bricks"). Matthew is an Auto Service Advisor for a local import shop. He enjoys tinkerings with vintage motorcycles and German cars. He is a very passionate and resourceful guy. Stephanie is an RN for a local Hospital. She graduated with her BSN just two weeks before the big trip. Besides motorcycling she loves spending time with her family and friends, their doggie "Kayte", their two kitties, painting, photography, cooking, and anything outdoors. As a graduation gift to herself, she planned on taking a cross-country motorcycle trip. Little did she know she would meet the man of her dreams that would make that dream trip happen!
