    About the Book

    Edit

Even in this age of metadata and computational analysis, the impressions and experiences from the users perspective remain critical aspect in the development of meaningful places.

Therefore, the urban gestures surveyed for this project represent a unique opportunity to assets the prospects of static urban spaces. But unlike the normative theories of urban design and planning which uphold the attributes of vast spatial systems and the enduring character of design, alternatively, these cultural interventions espouse the concept of adaptability and temporality as fundamental elements in the composition of contemporary spaces.

Hence, the cultural/interventions represent a vital opportunity to assist the visioning of remnant spaces becoming socially viable and aesthetically pleasing environments.
