The images appearing in this book were shot with an infrared camera in the larger temple area of the Angkor Wat complex in Cambodia, as well as the temples of Angkor Thom and Bayon. I selected infared to shoot these temples because of the unique “dreamlike appearance” that is achieved with the lush foliage and cloudy skies surrounding the temples.
