This idea was beating in my head, long ago, just like a heart eager to leave the chest where he is imprisoned.



And so, one day just like another one, I decided to take a break and travel, slowly, with the purpose to visit some places that fascinate me since childhood.



The choice of places to visit was not easy, and sometimes the opportunity of transportation between sites dictated the following destination.The trip ended up lasting 10 months. 10 fantastic months when I actually stopped, and, without rush, tried to live a little of each of the places I was visiting.



This book shows in images the 10-month journey that began in Portugal (because I always wanted to know more about the country where I live), and continued through NY, Costa Rica, Argentina, Brazil, São Tome, Southern Africa, Malaysia and Europe.



It was a long time outside home but worth it, and I hope the photos do justice to the adventure that was this trip.
