Evelyn Marin shows us different techniques to portray boldly environments, emotions and body parts. In some photographs, objects play a role. At other moments, Evelyn multiplies herself staging indecision, forced recruitment and the wounds of the soul.

Evelyn's work avoids the self-centered character and keeps the modesty in her percipient eye. The artist backs in front of the camera lens and leaves room for the representation -almost anonymously- of universal states of being, feelings ...

In her own words "Since we opened our eyes in the morning we have contact with some countryman, with our spouse, the lady who wakes up very early to clean, the singing bird ... However, do you really know them?". And us, Do we get to know Evelyn on her privacy through their self-portraits?

Whatever the answer is, Evelyn, with her sincerity confronts the viewer with her own secret.
