Annie Taylor’s life covered most of Nottingham’s 20th century and in 1984 she painstakingly typed out her life story.



Those fragile pages have survived the intervening years and have now been restored, edited and published.



A Radford Life is a rich source of social history for twentieth century working class Nottingham and provides many insights into one woman’s life through the Roaring Twenties, the Great Depression, World War II and more.



Annie would have turned 100 years old on February 27, 2011.
