    Artist statement

My interest to explore the human face, started because I developed an

intense desire to observe inside the eyes and understand the

kaleidoscope aspect of the soul. I not only look at the details of a

face but it is with the interest that I start looking, and then keep

looking deeper inside the eyes. I feel there is an uncontainable

passion for colors and the light when using acrylic paint and is

exactly in that intensity of applying the paint that I find, through

the process, the intensity of the eyes. It is by looking deeper into

the eyes that I travel in time and try to transmit my reality and my

    closeness to the subjects.
