The Project: The EATM Experience (2011) is the third edition of a collaboration between the Moorpark College Exotic Animal Training and Management program and the Moorpark College Photography Department. Started by Moorpark College photo alumni Jonathan Castillo three years ago, this project has become a way for the photography students to build portfolios and gain real world experience working with the trainers and their animals. For the trainers this book project gives the graduating class an opportunity to show off the skills gained from two years of intensive work at EATM. The collaborative efforts of students and faculty from both programs has resulted in several editions of books and a collective body of photographs that highlights these two amazing programs.All proceeds from book sales are donated to the EATM and photo programs at Moorpark College.
