    Bruce S. Levin
    San Francisco, California, USA/Tokyo, Japan

Bruce Levin is an architect, furniture and product designer currently practicing in San Francisco, California. By working in various disciplines he strives to bring divergent sensibilities into play when working on projects that vary in scale from the details of hand held devices, furniture design, automotive products and architecture. Issues of material invention and human interaction figure prominently in his work. In the tradition of Charles and Ray Eames, while studying at Cranbrook, he focused on interweaving the disciplines into to a common language of design intentionality. It is in this spirit that Mr. Levin approaches each project searching for its essential qualities in determining unique solutions unhindered by conventional expectations. The work in this book represents the second component of student work based in The Global Influences in Housing Studio at the California College of the Arts, Graduate Program in Design.
