    ANDREAS LINDELL

inspirerades av bilderna och skapade recept

was inspired by the images and created recipes based on the images

In September of 2008 Lena is walking around in her mother's garden in Skåne, Sweden. After a surgery risking of going blind, she needs to know if she still can use her eyes. She starts photographing plants extremely close, all to see if her mind and camera's eye still can cooperate. It’s the beginning of a series of pictures that tells the story of life and proximity. The photographs show us something new about the plants that becomes our food and also about the primal force and brittleness that life carries.

Lena Ringstad is a photographer and graphic designer. She divides her time between Los Angeles, Stockholm and Bösarp. Whether she takes pictures of soul musicians in California, or designing websites Fly Mama's offices in Stockholm, it’s all about her personal expression, which is the foundation of her work.

A collection of Recipes celebrating the fine art photograph and great taste of Swedish and European cuisine.
