About the Book
Author and life coach Melanie E. Rijkers was invited to Blikopener (Eye Opener) at the NSWAC Noutenhof center in Breda the Netherlands. Blikopener is a weekly activity for clients with NAH, Niet Aangeboren Hersenletsel, a therapy group for people with acquired brain injury. PhotoTherapy: clients posed, brought their own photos and coach Marieke wrote down their stories. The result is this very special photo book, brutally honest on what happens to you when you become a person with a disability.
