About the Book
During the year 2007, the Macon County Times, a local weekly newspaper in my area, published 39 of my wildlife bird pictures. This book is a collection of all 39 photos thus, the title 39 BIRDS. All bird photos were taken in Tennessee. I hope you enjoy the bird photos presented in this book, and that it makes you aware of those beautiful winged and feathered friends that are part of our daily lives.

I am a professional educator with emphasis on administration and technology. The digital world has allowed me to couple my interest in technology with my love of photography and turn a hobby into a creative pursuit. My favorite subjects to photograph (outside of my two grandchildren) are all of nature! I love the outdoors and so enjoy nature photography! It seems to be so satisfying to capture the wonders of nature in a still photo and share the world through my eyes.
