This collection of drawings has been inspired by the marsh landscape nearby the artist's home in East Sussex. The sketches, mostly in charcoal but with the occasional addition of pen, ink wash, pastel, chalk and gouache, were made whilst walking the Pevensey Levels and together they form a weekly record of views captured over the calendar year. A second book entitled "Prints 2011" shows the range of printmaking which resulted from using these sketches as a basis for further artistic development. This book is also available from Blurb.
