As the state's flagship university, the University of Texas at Austin is famous for many things. Its size alone—almost 50,000 students—makes it stand out. Its football team is renowned far and wide. Of equal (and, to many, greater) importance is its academic reputation—its highly regarded departments, outstanding faculty, distinguished graduates. But one of the university's most exemplary programs is also one of the least known: the Plan II Honors Program.
