In the fall of 2009, two friends embarked on a journey west. The destination was British Columbia, Canada. We would spend time exploring the mainland coast and Vancouver Island and visit the cities of Victoria and Vancouver. Our goals were to see grizzly bears and whales in their natural habitats; to hike in ancient old growth rain forests; and to meet and spend time with old friends. Needless to say it was an incredible journey.
