About the Book
From the book
"While perusing through a University adult education pamphlet, I came across a three day course on how to take Impressionistic photography. It was expensive, but on a whim I signed up and went along full of the eager novelty of youth. It was here that I discovered what my camera was lacking - size. Everyone else had ten years and at least two inches on me, this would not do. Another costly camera purchase was made and with my new larger camera (with extra lens) I toddled off to Fine Arts school in Wellington, brimming with the uncertainty of youth. On this two year journey I discovered two important things. One. I was never going to be the next Walker Evans. Two. That was ok.
This book is a moment in time, from a camera phone in 2006 to a plastic camera in 2011, these photos show an evolution of understanding and education."
